Welcome to
Maderas del Carmen

Maderas del Carmen is a federally protected landscape of 514,000+ acres in the Sierra del Carmen, Coahuila. Inside it, we manage a 49,421-acre private conservation area, crowned by The Highland—a sky-island where relict forests survive above the desert. Our focus is conservation-first access: guided hikes, wildlife observation, and photography under minimal-impact protocols.
